For many years, I represented people across the Tampa Bay Area after car, truck and motorcycle accidents. My practice now focuses on estate planning, but I still help past clients, and the people they send to me, with injury cases on a limited basis.

Jennifer Meksraitis
I’ve practiced law in Florida since 2007, first as a public defender in Palm Beach County and then in my own practice, where I represented people hurt in car, truck and motorcycle accidents across the Tampa Bay Area.
Today my practice focuses on estate planning, but I haven’t forgotten the people who trusted me after one of the hardest days of their lives. If you’re one of them, or someone they sent, I want to hear from you.

AFTER AN ACCIDENT
Four things to do after a car accident in Florida

See a doctor within 14 days
Even if you feel fine. Florida’s PIP coverage generally requires treatment within 14 days of the crash.

Document everything
Get the crash report number, and photograph the cars, the scene, your injuries and the other driver’s insurance card.

Tell your own insurer
Report the accident to your insurance company promptly.

Talk to a lawyer first
Before giving a recorded statement to the other driver’s insurance company, call me.
